Re: [FCP-L] A bit OT: consumer cam with night vision?

Dumb film is an understatement. How does the white guy get in the drivers side rear door, then the next shot is in the passenger side rear, then next they are flipped and the driver is on the right side, then the next shot the driver is back on the left and the other guy is now in the front seat. Can someone please check for damn continuity. This entire thing couldn't have taken more than a couple of hours to shoot.

BTW at 5k for the body, that might be a bit more than consumer.

The sony hvr a1u. Tiny pro hdv camcorder with pro audio and downcovert.

Shoots in total darkness with its own IR.

Probably about to be updated. There's a rebate now.

It's always been like this and always will be. As soon as this new
Canon is out, Nikon will come with a video-shooting 3D, Panasonic
will come with the GH2, then Sony will come with a video shooting
model as well.

You'll just have to jump-in somewhere and I didn't want to wait. And
what's wrong with having multiple camera's? Then I can finally make
my first multi-angle DVD lol.

You posted this in July:

And that converted me. Since that day my eyes can't stand normal
camcorder footage anymore, sometimes it even makes me puke.

I posted that clip in some other photo and video forums and most
people weren't impressed, or nitpicking about that bizarre string
effect (which in my eyes is just simply beautiful). For me that is
amateurism, being a good photo- or videographer starts with looking
and if your eyes can't see the difference between beauty and crap
then don't even bother picking up a camera :-)

At the moment the Panasonic is the "best" "DSLR" with video-mode,
it's definitely the easiest to work with. I knew Canon would come
with some better soon but I didn't want to wait. But when purchasing
lenses for the Panasonic, I purchase Nikon mount lenses, which can
also be mounted on Canons, Reds, etc, using adapter rings.

Ah, missed that. Yes, they did. VERY nicely done, too. Much better
than Reverie, which I really didn't like at all, as purdy as it was. :)
