[FCP-L] OL VDSLR with Intent
My Intent is that this style of shooting is out there and its only a
matter of time before a major feature is shot using these cameras. The
lenses, the set up time with a smaller body and the "biggy" costs, is
to become an issue in high end shooting. The ramifications of these
factors has already shaken RED to its core. Now if the are smart, they
will price Scarlet competitively and they will grab this market if
they don't get that, Scarlet will be still born. Tune in 16:00 PST
November 30th to see the next episode of this saga unfold (maybe).

Thanks for your response Tom, its a POP account so it normally appears
on both my iPhone and MBP, I then have a pref setting to delete from
server after 1 day.
Its back working again, but I definitely got a message on my iPhone
which did not come through to my MBP, each device checks the servers
using POP, one got it, the other did not. I understood that POP checks
the integrity of the data when it sends it to the device and resends
any bad packets, so it should have picked up the error, it failed, and
thats a bit sobering that it failed to do that, I guess shit happens.

[FCP-L] Re: LG TruMotion 480Mhz LCD TV, etc??
This 240hz TV thing is just a new hype. The market is saturated so
they had to come with something new so the meatbrains (90% of the
world's population) will be convinced they need to replace their
current flatscreen by a new one in order to survive.
Stand by for the next wave as the manufacturers try to convince everyone to chuck their current sets and buy a 3D capable one...

[FCP-L] HDMI monitoring
I'm building a budget HD edit suite! and thinking of hooking up a Decklink HDMI card...
http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/
to a Dell SX2210 HD monitor...
http://accessories.euro.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=uk&l=en&s=bsd&cs=ukbsdt1&sku=274817
I'm new to this HDMI stuff, with this setup will it show interlaced video? Also would it be useless for SD work?
Any thoughts! is this a cool setup or am I asking for trouble!!
