[FCP-L] QMaster - The lurking mystery within FCS

OK, I now know what QMaster does and how AWESOME it is. I'm now exporting and converting in better than real-time speed.

My question...

Is it possible to send a clip from the timeline in FC to Compressor and have it use all (8 in my case) cores?

I have followed some threads that discuss this topic and find that many, like me, are having a problem doing this.

If I try to do it as described above each core will encounter a problem and the conversion will stop.

BUT, I have found a work around. From FC export QT, then take that file directly into Compressor, outside of FC. Works great. But... I would prefer to do it the first way (above.)

How are others doing it?

Thanks for the thoughts!

Dave
