[FCP-L] Re: ProRes level change when playing vs stopped...

No, no range check, but I am now convinced I have a setting mismatch of some kind... I took the drive home with me last night, hooked it up there and fiddled about and eventually got some clips to work and others to act the opposite of what had been happening at work, in other words they would look one way parked and then go DARKER in play, backwards from what had been happening at work. So I labeled the clips good/not good goes dark, brought the drive into work and the ones labeled good look one way parked and go Brighter in play, and the ones labeled not good, at work play normally.
So, I think I need to dig into my settings (and manuals...) and find the difference.
Meanwhile, thanks for the help so far.
