[FCP-L] Re: OT: Dead Ti-Book, should I repair?

Last year I finally gave away a Beige G3 with EditDV and the non standard firewire card used with it. The Beige G3 itself was capable of running OS 10.2.8. The built in Zip drive failed and the external SCSI hard drive failed. I gave it to a friend to give to their church since they needed a very basic computer for word processing and such.

I have a Dual 800 still going quite strong. With a minor hack it runs Leopard just fine although iPhoto 09 is very slow. Amongst other things, it's the office answering machine running Phone Valet.
