[FCP-L] Re: VITC Sucks

I would think that switching the TC reader to LTC instead of Auto (on the deck) would spit out the LTC value over 422. It works like that at least when I'm doing VTR to VTR editing with the 5500. I only have FCP and in the device control settings I can choose between LTC, VITC, and LTC+VITC. I switch this to LTC and it ignores the VITC. Can't say for sure about Avid device controls but I'd be surprised if that weren't an option in there somewhere...
