Re: [FCP-L] Export still image from sequence?

ok, i just had to do this half an hour ago,
so i tried something new for me,
and it worked pretty well.

luckily i had to make stills from a single clip of a captured movie.
so in the viewer, i marked up frames i liked.

then i made a new bin,
toggled the marked clip to reveal the markers,
and dragged them into the new bin.
(where they become subclips parked on the first frame, which is the
frame i marked)

then i selected the bin and made a Batch Export as still images
all the stills had names like Marker 1 from "clip name".psd
but a couple of passes though R-name (any renaming app will do)
and they were tidied up.

Rainers app looks very good, (and has some other functions)
but this seemed just as simple, other than the re-naming.

you are using sequences, not clips.
but if they are rendered,
you can export as NON self contained and DON'T include sound.
the exports will be lightning fast,
and you can make you stills from those exports.
