Scenario:
Multicam project shot on HVX-200 cameras.
Final Cut ID's the footage thusly: DVCPro HD 720p60 | 23.98 fps.
Audio recorded separately via Nuendo (not sure which version).
These are WAV files: 48 KHz 24-bit integer
I let FCP create a new sequence to match the footage. These are its audio properties:
48 KHz 24-bit
Problem:
The location audio files do not match the camera audio. It is noticeably higher in pitch.
Outside of FCP (QT Player) this is evident as well.
I am thinking there is some type of sample rate mismatch, but Footage, Timeline, and Audio files are all at 48 KHz.
Sound guys says audio was recorded directly to disk through Nuendo.
The files I have were copied from the disk. No export, mixdown, etc.
Any advice or insight is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jesse Gordon
