[FCP-L] Re: Considering Canon XH-A1s. Any reviews? Used?

The Panasonic model to which Steve refers is the HMC40. At a street price of
$2K (add $500 for the XLR block) it is economical, offers a solid AVCHD
codec at multiple bit-rates, and has good manual options. At $1K less than a
comparable JVC HM100, it is IMHO the ideal camera for your educational
applications.
