When picking an LCD, think:
Bigger Type = Bigger Pixels = Fewer Pixels / Inch = Higher Dot Pitch
The dot pitch of LCD monitors ranges from about .16mm to about .40mm
If bigger type, buttons and timeline detail is what you're after then choose a monitor that goes against the conventional wisdom that finer dot pitch is better.
So, don't get just a bigger LCD, get a bigger LCD that doesn't have more pixels per inch. In other words, get a bigger LCD that also has a bigger dot pitch.
