If you are referring to LED backlight, then I respectfully disagree. If you are referring to OLED, then you may be right but I can't confirm since they don't exist in the market.

So I assume you mean the various LED backlight monitors. Yeah, they look great until you start to work on color correcting a movie with rich blacks... or you lean too far off center axis...
