[FCP-L] TC Breaks with some decks

 

Right off the top, I'm the Avid guy at our shop. But I'm in charge of all the rooms in general. So here's the question:

Our FCP/Kona 2 gets timecode breaks when using Panasonic D455 or PD950 decks. The same tape played in our Panasonic 1400 is fine. So what should our FCP guy look for to fix this? Does FCP have a problem with these decks? I hate using our HD deck to playback SD tapes. The SD decks are MUCH more affordable to repair and service.
