[FCP-L] trouble exporting clean alpha channels with FCP 7

I am having trouble exporting clean alpha channels with FCP 7. The
alphas look clean in the canvas, but the exported alpha channels (re-
imported into the viewer) are very noisy. I've tried with the
animation codec as well at Prores 4444. The same files were used in a
FCP 6.0.6 project without this problem.
BTW, I'm using Primatte Pro as the keyer.

So far, my only solution has been to SEND the sequence to Motion,
apply the filters there, then export.
