Yes, you can only media manager online media. When media is "offline"
the full original clips will be used.

Can the Media Management be done on the original system, with the
offline media available? If the Sequence clips had been made
"Independent" then the media management done with available media it
would work as you expect.

I'm not aware of how that might work, nor could Greg (partner/coding
genius for our XML-based software) work out how to make it happen.
