Philip, It seems Nick might have a solution. The XML thing worked
for me way back when on what exactly I can't remember. It was
something like doing "find and replace" on the text file. Maybe it
was as simple as a reel name change. I thought if I could somehow
replace the old 'long' clip with the newly digitized 'short' clip in
the XML and keep the T/C the same. The effects data might transfer.
I know I'm probably asking for a lot. It would probably take more
time to edit the XML if it were possible, than to just redo all the
effects.
