out that I'm too lazy to carry them around or look for them. I had a
pair, but I never used them.
Also, the very nature of my work demands quick changes in focal
distance. My edit monitors are middle distance, the script is close
and the viewing monitor is far away. And every once in a while I have
to actually look at the client.
Plus I have to hop up every ten or fifteen minutes and go to another
room for something or other, sometimes just to avoid sitting too long
and getting one of those killer blood clots.
So for me, trifocals are better. Sort of like my iPhone, for my eyes.
It may not be the best solution, but it is the best all-in-one solution.
Also, I'm afraid of laser surgery. If they screw up what vision I have
left, I'm done and I can't afford to take the risk.
