component out of the camera and then a second A/D conversion inside of the
ioHD to get into FCP)? My camera doesn¹t have an HD-SDI connection.
That¹s two conversions before I even start editing. That is not what I want.
FCP¹s current HDV to Prores 422 via firewire capture in FCP stays entirely
digital, if I¹m not mistaken. There is no A/D or D/A conversions. That is
what I want to do but with ProRes LT via firewire capture.
I can use HDV to Prores 422 capture or I can capture HDV natively and
export/render to ProRes LT inside of FCP for now.
Since ProRes LT is available as an option inside of the Log and Transfer
window, perhaps Apple will make this possible in an update for FCP as HDV to
ProRes LT via firewire capture.
Thanks,
