Richard, you're shooting HDV mate, I think D/A and A/D conversions are the least of your worries at this point. Still, you might want to consider picking up a good HDV deck with better I/O options.

I'd imagine its likely but with Apple theres never any guarantee and I would not be inclined to make production decisions based on what Apple may or may not do at some indeterminable point in the future
