[FCP-L] FCP7&Snow Leopard -- QT exports

Hey folks.

I'm working on a system here that's running FCP7 with Snow Leopard and
am finding a weird glitch. In trying to export a Quicktime movie
(export>Quictime Movie: native settings) I've found that I need to
mark in/out on my sequence in order to make the export. Otherwise I
get the error message "General Error 34" and FCP creates a file on my
desktop or drive that is named the same as the sequence but is
essentially a 1 frame/black/Quicktime movie.

Anyone see this? Is there a setting to change this or is this the new
way of exporting movies from FCP?
