I see them too... and you can multiply by a factor of 10!
But I don't think you can say this is a representation of HDV in
general: to get the full story, you have to look not only at the
format but also the camera and the bit-rate associated with your
footage.
Anyway I would not like to cut this footage... unless I am paid I
guess :-)
