camera .. It's really a plastic price if crap that is awkward to to
hold. And the lens ain't great . Also, as a format , xdcam is really
really lossy. I work on an assortment of action sports HD
programming . Whenever we get xd broil footage , it doesn't cut well
with the other footage (HDCAM or P2 720p), whenever a flash-bulb hits
the lens, the picture is filled with blocks of gunk. We are shooting
right now with the JVC GYHm700 and it's blows the xdcam away . Yes,
it has the 35mbs out if the box like XDCAM, nut you can change the
settings, shoot st higher bitrates, don't gave to wrangle with some
stupid Sony codec to get it into your FCP system, and it takes prime
lenses. Also, we shoot with the canon eos mark 5, though technically
not a video cam, blows the flipping doors off XDCAM. That's two
options, I can provide more, but I am currently standing in the corner
if 47th and broadway and I gave to cross the street now. And I cut
