and card is about $9,000 after rebate. At least, that's a B&H package price.
The Sony EX1R isn't available yet, but looks like it will be about $6,000 on
the street with battery and a generic memory card. At this end of the
market, that's a significant price difference.
Comparing the HPX300 to the Sony EX3 (which costs about the same, all things
considered) is a bit more involved and interesting. The EX3 produces nice
images. I've only seen a little bit of real-world HPX300 footage, so I can't
make a serious comparison.
