Can anyone make sense of this for me? Hit GGG, then try to select a
vertical section of a stack of, say, three layers of clips.
Only the actual clip under the cursor and any clips that you move over
sideways get selected. Not the two layers of clips under the one you
clicked on.
You can click on a clip and then try to draw a bounding box, but
nothing else is selected below or above the one you clicked on. Is
this working right?
All the auto selection thangs are empowered.
Is there something simple that uses a kind of bounding box selection
to emulate what happens when you slice through every track in the
stack at the beginning and end of a section you want to select? In
other words, I don't want the whole clips back to their beginning and
end, just the part I'm slicing out of the middle of all of them.
Currently FCP7, but I think this has ALWAYS sort of stumped me.
Many TIA.
Cordially,
Doug
