Just tried it and I see what you mean - I expected that whichever timeline
was active would show in the canvas, when it fact it appears that only one
timeline window is linked to the canvas (at least in v6 - maybe changed in
v7?). That'll teach me to make assumptions...

Damn. Nowhere near as useful a trick as I hoped then, unless I'm missing
something else.
