Re: [FCP-L] Re: Was Murch, now Avid/FCP

Just as viable, yes, but a good deal slower - and less precise if the source
clips you want are on different tracks to the ones you want to cut them in
to on the record side.
I've heard it said many times before about how great it is that you can have
multiple sequences open in FCP, but I don't get that it's a great deal
better switching sequences by selecting a tab than it is by selecting from a
drop-down menu, as in Avid. Though it is nice that you can quickly flick
through them in FCP with keyboard shortcuts, (though not so practical if you
have a large number open at once).

And I regularly have some very choice words to say about those tabs when go
to try and land the playhead on an earlier part of my timeline and
accidentally activate a different sequence instead. Really wish there was a
way to enlarge the scrub bar like you can with individual tracks. Where's
that FCP feature request link again?
