Client shot completely on Red 4K. Offline editing is on FCP 23.98 with M Proxies. This is a 90 minute film. Final delivery is HDCam 4:2:2 1080p 23.98 (probably SR but not sure yet). How smooth is this workflow going back to the R3D files? Is that the best way to do this? Is Color now grading from the RAW data? I know this is a big thread and possibly in the archives. Just thought I'd ask fresh.
