Can anyone explain to me why a sudclip is a form of "master clip" and
not an "affiliate clip" to the master clip?
Can anyone explain how this is "better"?
I notice that in FCP7, Apple has solved the most obvious weakness of
subclips by adding a function to match back to master clips, but I
fail to understand why this is even necessary. And why, having
recognized the problem, didn't they simply change subclips to
affiliate clips?
